BAAKP meets four times a year and publishes a quarterly newsletter called <em>Kidney</em> <em>Konnections.</em> BAAKP hires health professionals to lead presentations and discussions as a means of education. Past presentations have covered topics such as kidney trasnplant surgery, the effects of diabetes type I and II on kidney function and financial and insurance solutions for kidney patients.</p> <p>The BAAKP additionally provides information and resources relating to kidney disease on its <a href="http://www.baakp.org/">website</a>, including video recordings of past presentations. The BAAKP is run completely on donations. The BAAKP has no set location, and so presentation locations may vary.</p>
