Dance Expressions offers jazz, hip hop, lyrical and creative movement dance classes for kids, teens, and young…More adults. Programs here focus on all aspects of dance from technique to performance ability. The main dance year runs from September to June with summer camps and classes running June to August. An end of the year performance is held annually at the Menlo-Atherton Performing Arts Center. Dance Expressions also offers performing companies for students in age levels from the 4th Grade to Young Adult, giving dancers the opportunity to perform at multiple events throughout the year.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

All city departments and projects answer to the City Manager, who is essentially the city's chief operations officer.</p> <p>Glen Rojas, current City Manager, was hired on August 2, 2007 with an annual salary of $204,000, and an at-will employment contract, which ends July 31, 2010.</p> <p>City Managers can be removed from office if a majority of The Council votes to discharge them. Academic Trainers provides one-on-one training and advice to students at any level. Group sessions and cram sessions…More are also offered. Whether it be for students who are falling behind in classes, students who need to improve their organizational skills, or just want to excel in their classes, this is the place. Academic Trainers focuses on each student's primary curriculum rather than making its own curriculum. Entrance exam preparation is offered at Academic Trainers, including preparation for the ISEE, HSPT, SSAT, ERBs, PSAT, SAT and SAT IIs. On scheduled Mondays, this tutoring facility also offers free diagnostics for the ISEE, HSPT and the SSAT.</p> <p>Academic Trainers offers summer programs from June to August. These programs include one-on-one tutoring, workshops, classes for credit and test preparation. Classes that can be taken for credit encompass courses in math (Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus and Trigonometry), science (Biology, AP Bio, Chemistry and Physics), as well as Spanish I, II and III. Tutoring for students with learning disabilities is offered here with great results. Appointments may be scheduled online.</p>
