There are manyRead More local governments or jurisdictions where staff, usually unelected, run the show and the supposed decision makers actually have nominal say at best with regard to what staff does. Unfortunately Brown Act violations are rampant everywhere, because enforcing penalties against such violations are hard to do. Hopefully this story gets the attention it deserves because public attention is what will pressure the folks involved to do the right thing.
