Owner Lynn Macy, born and raised in Menlo Park, describes the Pet Place as somewhere "animals and animal lovers can gather."</p> <p>The store is smaller than the chains, Macy explains, but its selection of unique products draws a number of loyal customers. The Pet Place carries supplements and and homeopathic products, unique toys for cats and dogs, custom items, such as cat furniture, and services for disabled animals.</p>
