Menlo Park Senior Center

<p>This bustling center is where many local seniors come to hang out with other members of their community. Some play a rowdy game of pool or cards in one of the side rooms. Others prefer to take advantage of the ceramics classes and exercise lessons offered by the center.   </p> <p>The first garden concerts were held in July 2010; and Avideh Yaghmai-Samardar, Senior Services Supervisor, hopes to make them an annual tradition. The musicians who played at the concerts were active members of the Senior Center community. </p> <p>The Menlo Park Senior Center partners with the 2nd Harvest Food Bank to feed needy people in the area, among other philanthropic organizations. </p>
