Markstyle Barbershop and Bookstore

<p>Markstyle Barbershop and Bookstore is owned by Jym Marks – artist, barber, accomplished writer, speaker, musician and grandfather. Marks has been cutting and styling hair for 30 years, has published nine volumes of poetry, and has performed jazz with legends (he's got photos on the walls to prove it). The barbershop provides hair cuts for men, women, teens, and children, as well as beard and moustache trims and shaves, and eyebrow arches.  Appointments accepted.</p> <p>Jym is quite the intellectual, and has designed his barbershop to be a gathering place where community members come to laugh, share great stories, have meaningful discussions and debates, and discover new literature, all while getting a sweet new do!</p> <p>The best part?  The African bookstore in the back, which is chock full of novels, children's books, cards, oils, and more.</p>
