Hililview Middle School

<p>With 70 pecent of parents involved in the Parent Teacher Organization, the Hillview Hawks are well supported by the community, including generous financial endowments from the Menlo Park-Atherton Education Foundation.</p> <p>The campus was renovated in 2002, and is now wired for cable tv, internet, and phone.  A new field ought to be ready for a ground- breaking game by 2011.</p> <p>California named Hillview Middle School a "distinguished school" for the 8th time in 2009.</p> <p>100 percent of students had books for all of their classes in the 2008-2009 academic year, which probably contributed to the school's exemplary STAR scores.  </p> <p>Eighty-seven percent of students attained proficient or higher than average scores on their Language Arts exams; 82 percent reached that level on their Math exams; 88 percent for Science tests; and 83 percent for History-Social science.</p> <p>Unique activities at this school include: Greek Festival, Renaissance Faire, Biography Tea, Astronomy Night, and, of course, Band.</p>
