Bedwell Bayfront Park

Flag as Inappropriate

A former landfill, Bedwell Bayfront Park offers beautiful views, bird watching and some great hiking. The hiking trails are plentiful and vary in difficulty so there are trails to accommodate everyone in the family, including children and the elderly. In April, the park also hosts Kite Day in Menlo. Bedwell has an open field and gets some nice winds, making it a great destination for flying kites any day of the year.

Bedwell Bayfront Park has one main perimeter trail which is very wide and offers numerous wide and side trails crisscrossing the area. Trails are also wide enough for a great bike ride for the kids and family. The park is a great place to walk the dogs, take a hike, soak up the beautiful views of the south bay and much more. Check out the Web site to find out more on the park and its activities, as well as about its origin and its founder, Mike Bedwell.
