Competition must be fierce these days in Menlo Park, judging from the increasingly decadent flavor combinations being offered by the street trucks that roll into town.
On Monday, three food trucks will be parked outside of The Willows Market at 4 p.m.
The Chairman’s chef will be serving tender pork bellied buns topped with tumeric, picked daikon and green shiso.
Nearby, Eat on Monday will offer maple glazed bacon and blue cheese burgers, while Curry Up Now will serve organic tikka masala burritos.
The event runs from 4-8 in front of the market, which is located at 60 Middlefield Road. Organizers encourage people to walk or ride their bikes to get there.
