Author Illustrates Evolution of Commuting on the Peninsula

Hosting program at Menlo Park Council Chambers Saturday.

Author Janet McGovern is expected to illuminate the history of Caltrain on the Peninsula Saturday and discuss the ways that the rail line contributed to the evolution of the Peninsula. 

She will be speaking at an event called "Caltrain and the Peninsula Commute Service" that will be held in Menlo Park's City Council Chambers, which is located at 701 Laurel Street.  It is within walking distance of the . 

Seniors and mobility challenged individuals in Menlo Park can call (650) 330-2512 to get a free ride to the event.
