Williams cruised through her semifinal match Saturday night against Sorana Cirstea of Romania, winning 6-1, 6-2 at Stanford's Taube Family Tennis Center.

"This week has been weird," said Williams after the match.

"It's already Sunday and I can't believe I'm in another final," the Wimbledon champ added.

Williams will face fellow American Coco Vandeweghe, who who edged Yanina Wickmayer 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 in Saturday’s other semifinal. Williams and Vandeweghe will meet in Sunday's final at 1:00 p.m. Regardless of the outcome, Williams will be London-bound once again within a few days, where she'll be a member of the U.S. Olympic Tennis Team.

Although the semifinal match took less than an hour to complete, Williams said it took both players some time to get going.

"It took me a few games to figure out her (Cirstea) game," said Williams.

"I had to wait her out, she has so much power and she has great technique, but once I figured her out I was able to relax and do what I had to do," she added.

The all-American showdown between Williams and Vandeweghe is the first WTA singles final on U.S. soil since 2009 when Serena Williams defeated her sister Venus Williams in the WTA Championships.
