Rose Bowl Bound!! Stanford Defeats UCLA
The Stanford Cardinal is heading to the Rose Bowl on Jan.1 after claiming the Pac 12 title Friday night at Stanford Stadium.
No. 8 Stanford defeated No. 17 UCLA to win the Pac 12 Championship Game at Stanford Stadium Friday night. The final score was 27-24.
Jordan Williamson kicked a 36-yard field goal with 6:49 remaining to play for the winning points.

Kevin Hogan, named the game's MVP, threw for 155 yards and a 26-yard touchdown pass to Drew Terrell. He also rushed for 47 yards another touchdown.
Stanford senior running back Stepfan Taylor gained 74 yards and became Stanford's career rushing leader with 4,175 overall.

The conference crown gives Stanford an automatic bid to the Rose Bowl. Their opponent will be determined Saturday. The winner of the Big Ten Championship Game between Nebraska and Wisconsin will also get a ticket to Pasadena.
Friday night’s game was a nail-biter to the end. It took a missed field goal by UCLA with just 39 seconds on the clock to seal the win.
