Menlo School Sweeps Priory

Menlo School's Maddie Huber collected one of her 10 digs of the night against Priory with Melissa Cairo.


The Menlo volleyball team shut down Woodside Priory with a 25-11, 25-23, 25-13 victory in West Bay Athletic League-Foothill play Tuesday at home.

The Knights roll to a 6-1 mark in league play and hold on to second place with three games remaining.

Against Priory, junior outside hitter Maddie Huber led the team in kills and digs with 12 and 10 respectively.

Sarah Bruml and Emma Thygesen each contributed nine kills. Middle blocker Morgan Dressel added six kills and hit .500 for the night, and contributed three blocks

The Knights finished hitting .318 and setter Elisa Merten collected 37 assists.

The Knights play Mercy-San Francisco at Menlo on Thursday at 5:45 p.m.
