Knights Soccer Team Gains Upper Hand

The Menlo School boys soccer team faced off against The Kings Academy in West Bay Athletic League play.

The Menlo School boys' soccer team got the upper hand in the first half and held on for a 1-0 league win over The King's Academy on Monday in Sunnyvale.

Knights senior forward Ryan Karle took a feed from Max Parker from the left side for a goal with just under 12 minutes left in the half. Menlo fended off several TKA shots, while countering with their own shots on goal.

Timmy Costa recorded his fifth shutout of the season and Menlo moves to 6-2-1 overall and 3-1 in West Bay Athletic League play. The Knights take on Pinewood at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

So happy that story about Google killing the Google Reader app was a joke. Google Reader is myRead More favorite way to read the Menlo Park Patch. Without Google Reader, I would miss all the great articles here.
