Knights Fall to the Bears
Menlo School Boys Water Polo team relinquished lead to Menlo-Atherton.
For the first time in sixteen years, Menlo School has relinquished the lead in the Peninsula Athletic League (PAL). Now holding an overall record of 27-4 against Menlo Atherton in the past thirteen years, Menlo fell to a well-coached and tenatious Bears team at Menlo-Atherton.
"This is why having the goal of 'Be Your Best' is so important to us," said Menlo coach Jack Bowen.
"Our goal is never to beat certain teams or win specific games but to truly be our best. We did that today. It was a really well-played games by both teams and I'm very proud of all of the players in our program," Bowen said.

Seven of Menlo's ten goals came from sophomore and freshman duo, Nick Bisconti and Chris Xi. Sophomore goalie Spencer Witte played well recording 9 saves. Senior captain Alexander Carlisle led the team in assist and steals and continued to show great leadership for the young team.
