Families Join "Walking School Bus" & More

Welcome to the latest edition of Transit Notes, a twice-monthly newsletter about transportation in the Menlo Park City School District.

Bike Week at Laurel

Lots of dedicated volunteers made Bike to School week at Laurel a great success! Bikers got bagels, juice, pencils and stickers! Rainer from Menlo Velo Bicycles was on hand to offer bike and helmet checks. Big Thanks to volunteers Virginia Davis, Jenny Freiermuth, Suman Kahlon, Kelley McGrath, Liliana Perazich, Nathalie Vasseur, and Ken Wang.

Walking School Buses

Do you know of a walking school bus at your school? A walking school bus is just a group of families who live close to each other and walk together! We want to expand our walking school bus program and hope to start with ones that are already active. Email info to kschrenk@gmail.com
