Buy Local: Christmas Tree Lots in Menlo Park-Atherton

There are several places to visit in Menlo Park and Atherton.

 

The Nativity School Christmas Tree Lot has been operating since 1998 and is staffed solely by parent and community volunteers. All proceeds benefit educational and extracurricular programs at Nativity School.

Location and Hours
We are located at Nativity School on the corner of Oak Grove Ave. and Laurel St. in Menlo Park. Our open dates and hours are as follows:

Through Saturday, December 15   Opening Day (11/23)  9am - 9pm  Saturdays  9am - 9pm  Sundays  9am - 5pm  Mondays  Closed  Tues - Thurs  4pm - 8pm  Fridays  4pm - 9pm  Last Day (12/15)  9am - 5pm

 

Menlo Park Kiwanis Club

The Menlo Park Kiwanis Christmas Tree Lot is open on the Stanford Univeristy Campus, adjacent to the Football Stadium on El Camino Real.

The Kiwanis Christmas Tree sales primarily benefits Menlo-Atherton High School students with scholarships ($60,000 last year). 

Kiwanis past president and lot organizer Doug Scott: “Kiwanis has had its Christmas tree lot for over 50 years, being in two Stanford locations during that half century. By using Kiwanis volunteers we have been able to produce income of over one million dollars, which has been ‘invested’ in the neediest charities in our local community, concentrating on the under served children."

So happy that story about Google killing the Google Reader app was a joke. Google Reader is myRead More favorite way to read the Menlo Park Patch. Without Google Reader, I would miss all the great articles here.
