Around Town
Make your voice heard!
Lots of changes are happening around Menlo Park that could impact you and your kids as they walk or bicycle around town. Local advocates for bicyclists and pedestrians can use your help to let our elected officials know you value safe routes. Contact Adina Levin at aldeivnian@gmail.com.
At Laurel
Many amazing volunteers created a fantastic Bike Week April 21-26! More than 200 students, parents and siblings got bagels and cream cheese and all biking students got a free bike bell!
“It was so great to see all these smiles and the concert of bells becoming louder as time went on,” said volunteer Nathalie Vasseur.
Rainer from Menlo Velo pumped lots of tubes and fixed lots of bells. Everybody looked happy and thankful to be part of such a special community. Staff noticed a huge decrease of cars in the car pool lane. Police were out in force to increase the safety of all.
