City Manager refutes PG&E's list of at-risk pipelines.

Planning Commissioner Katie Ferrick asked Deputy City Manger Kent Steffens whether a pipeline runs under the proposed Menlo Gateway project area during yesterday's planning commission meeting.

Steffens said that Menlo Park doesn't have any pipes in the top 100, even though the town was named in PG&E's release of the top 100 at-risk pipelines as one that does.  We were quite eager to verify this statement.

Take a look at this map we made based on the streets named in the PG&E document.  It appears that the intersection lies within the Willows neighborhood of Menlo Park, but the borders are blurry on that side of town.
