Vets Invited to Labor Day Free Concert

Moon Alice to play on the lawn at the Menlo Park V.A.

Veterans and their families are invited to come for the music, stay for the ice cream on Labor Day as Roger McNamee and members of Moon Alice play a mid-day concert on the lawn.

The musicians are alums of the Grateful Dead and Bruce Hornsby's band.

The Veterans Administration recreational therapy services is hosting the event, which includes use of the pool and weight room from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Building 334. The action moves to the lawn in front of the Community Living Center (Building 331) for the concert from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and a few rounds of Labor Day Trivia.
