Republicans and Democrats To Throw Parties in Menlo Park Thursday
Thoughtful citizens prepared to cheer on their favorite Vice Presidential candidate.
Both Republicans and Democrats in the Menlo Park-Atherton community plan to throw Vice Presidential debate watch parties on Thursday.
George Yang candidate for state assembly, will be hosting an event for conservatives in the party room of the Dutch Goose. Doors open at 5 p.m. The debate starts at 6 pm.
The admission fee is $30, which comes with one drink (beer, wine, or soda.) Young Republicans get a discount, bringing their cost to $25.
“All proceeds go to the George Yang for Assembly campaign as we work to bring fiscal sanity Sacramento,” Yang said.
The Dutch Goose is located at 3567 Alameda De Las Pulgas in Menlo Park.

The Democratic Volunteer Center is also hosting a group viewing of the vice presidential debate.
“The topic of the debate is domestic and foreign policy,” said Libby Strichartz, democratic volunteer. The event will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Light beverages and snacks will be served. Organizers ask that you RSVP, so they can purchase an appropriate amount.
The Democratic Volunteer Center is located at 350 El Camino Real in Menlo Park.
