Rep. Eshoo to Hold Town Hall Meeting About Gun Purchases on Saturday
Rep. Anna Eshoo will be joined by Rep. Mike Thompson, chairman of the House Task Force on Gun Violence Prevention.
Just days after the U.S. Senate voted down legislation that would have required background checks for all gun purchases, including at gun shows, Rep. Anna Eshoo has scheduled a last-minute Town Hall Meeting in Palo Alto.
Joining Rep. Eshoo will be Rep. Mike Thompson, chairman of the House Task Force on Gun Violence Prevention.
Rep. Eshoo’s office emphasized the congresswoman’s unwavering support for tightening gun control in this nation in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, which left 20 children and six educators dead.
