Though there can only be one winner for the District 4 Supervisor seat in November, two have advanced to the run-off. Former Chief Elections Officer & County Assessor-Clerk Recorder Warren Slocum gained nearly 40 percent of the vote and school board member Shelly Masur nabbed around 21 percent of the vote in the county-wide election.
Slocum celebrated at Nimbus Design on 2363 Broadway, while Masur held a party with the San Mateo County Labor Council in San Mateo.
Menlo Park Mayor --with almost 15 percent-- and Menlo Park city councilmember --with 5 percent--went on with business as usual upon the Menlo Park dais.
Candidate gained almost 8 percent of the vote and thanked supporters at a party at the in Redwood City.
Planning Commissioner Vice Chair totaled 3 percent of the vote and had a gathering at his home, while East Palo Alto Councilman Carlos Romero tallied almost 9 percent of the vote.
