Pacific Park Townhome Residents Voting on School District Territory

Not everyone gets to vote on Measure D, a special measure in the May 3 election.

Update:

Parents who live in the Pacific Park Townhomes on Willow Road are one step closer to sending their children to schools in Menlo Park City School District. 

As part of the May 3 special election, townhome residents were asked to vote on Measure D, a special initiative that would transfer that territory from the Ravenswood City School District into to the Menlo Park CSD boundaries. The children who live in the townhomes currently attend Ravenswood CSD schools.

As of Monday, 33 of 36 of the people registered to vote in that election have cast their ballot, according to David Tom, elections manager for San Mateo County.

The must receive ballots by 8 p.m. on May 3. The results will be announced on May 31, 2011.
