Most Pacific Parc Residents Vote Yes on D

Special election results will transfer townhomes into Menlo Park City School District.

Parents who live in the Pacific Parc townhomes on Willow Road may soon send their children to Menlo Park City School District Schools, once the special election results are made official.

As of 9:12 p.m. Tuesday, 34 out of 36 townhome residents had cast their ballot for Measure D, the special initiative that would transfer their homes from the Ravenswood City School District into Menlo Park City School District. Only one resident voted against it, according to David Tom, San Mateo County Elections manager.

Twenty-two percent of the population in San Mateo County that had registered to vote had turned in their ballots as of 8:30 p.m. That equates to a total of 76,623 out of the 341,303.
