Street Resurfacing Begins

City officials say motorists should anticipate delays while on a major thoroughfare in Atherton.

Crews are scheduled to begin working on Marsh Road Tuesday, which Menlo Park city officials say will cause traffic delays.

San Carlos-based construction company G. Bortolotto & Co. will start the process of removing and replacing deteriorated asphalt on portions of the road.

“The Marsh Road portion of the project begins east of the Union Pacific Railroad tracks and extends past the intersection of Scott Drive and Marsh Road,” said Ruben Niño, Assistant Public Works Director for the City of Menlo Park.

Niño expects that project to conclude at the end of April.
