Menlo Park Cuts Ribbon on New Housing

Mayor Peter Ohtaki, San Mateo County Supervisor Warren Slocum, and City Councilmember Kirsten Keith cut the ribbon on new "affordable" housing in Menlo Park.

Menlo Park city officials celebrated the grand opening of a new apartment complex Wednesday on Willow Road.

This HIP Housing project is the first complex to be opened within city borders in more than two decades.

The 12 apartments are located at 1157-1161 Willow Road in Menlo Park.

Disappointing article, nothing is said about how much the rent is or if they are full already from some waiting list. But I do think it's great that MP is keeping the poor people away from the downtown area.
