FREE Household Hazardous Waste Disposal for Menlo Park Residents

Menlo Park residents may bring household hazardous wasteincluding paint, thinners, motor oil, batteries, fluorescent lamps, pesticides, herbicides, pool and photo chemicals, drain openers, and cleaning solvents to a special drop-off location in central Menlo Park on Saturday, August 13th.  

There is no charge to participate, but residents must make an appointment at (650) 363-4718 (24 hours a day) or www.smhealth.org/hhw.  Space is limited.  Noradioactive, explosive, medical or commercial waste allowed.  Menlo Park residents of single-family homes, condos, townhomes and apartments may also dispose of hazardous waste through the FREE “At Your Door Special Collection” Program which picks up hazardous items near your door.  Residents must call 1-800-449-7589 or email atyourdoor@wm.com for a collection kit and instructions.
