Dates Set for El Camino Real and Downtown Specific Plan Hearings

City staffers announced the dates during Monday's Planning Commission meeting.

The City of Menlo Park will host four meetings during the summer months about the El Camino Real and Downtown Specific Plan.

During the next Planning Commission meeting, which will take place on July 11, city staffers and the commission will look at the input they've received from the public to gain an overview of the project.

On July 21, city staff will scrutinize a sub area within the plan, specifically the area around the Caltrain station.

The July 28 meeting will revolve around the looking at the downtown section of the plan, while the August 4 meeting will focus on the El Camino Real section.

Thomas Rogers, associate planner for the city of Menlo Park, said they intend to wrap it up on August 22

The times and locations for these meetings will be in the Menlo Park Patch Calendar, as soon as they are announced. The period to make public comments on the Draft EIR for the project ended last Monday.

So happy that story about Google killing the Google Reader app was a joke. Google Reader is myRead More favorite way to read the Menlo Park Patch. Without Google Reader, I would miss all the great articles here.
