Council Finalizes Facebook Project Decision

City officially welcomes the social media company into Menlo Park.



The Menlo Park City Council approved the for the final time Tuesday night during a meeting in Council Chambers.

The item was on the consent agenda, which means it was not scheduled for discussion.

Councilmember Rich Cline motioned to waive the obligatory second reading of the project.

Councilmembers joined him, unanimously approving the project; Menlo Park is now officially Facebook's home town.
