City Begins Draining Ponds

Menlo Park will be removing water from the city's ponds this week.

The City of Menlo Park began cleaning the ponds by the civic center Monday, an annual process that is expected to take about four weeks to finish.

Menlo Park's Public Works Department posted signs that said the ducks that swim in the pond would be protected while this happens.

The last time they drained it, city employees let me open the water pump to refill the it.

from that experience.  I make no excuses for that skirt.

So happy that story about Google killing the Google Reader app was a joke. Google Reader is myRead More favorite way to read the Menlo Park Patch. Without Google Reader, I would miss all the great articles here.
