CHP Issues Heavy Fog Advisory on 280

Drivers on Highway 92 may also experience low visibility.

The California Highway Patrol has issued heavy fog advisories for two highways in San Mateo County this morning.

At about 4:15 a.m., a heavy fog advisory was issued for Interstate Highway 280, in the area of the Eugene A. Doran Memorial Bridge in Redwood City, California Highway Patrol Officer Ralph Caggiano said.

Another advisory was listed for state Highway 92, near state Highway 35 and Ralston Avenue in unincorporated San Mateo County, Caggiano said.

Caggiano said that there was no estimate as to when the advisories would be lifted.

Motorists should take caution and make sure that they have their headlights turned on, leave generous space between other vehicles on the roadway and refrain from driving aggressively, Caggiano said.
