Assemblyman Rich Gordon likes to keep in touch with his constituents more so than most politicians. Changing districts won't change that.
Two days after officially taking office in Sacramento as the representative of the newly created 24th district, Gordon and his staff will be hosting an Open House at Gordon's District Office in Los Altos.
"As we begin a new legislative session, please keep me abreast of your thoughts and concerns," Gordon wrote in his latest newsletter. "I value hearing from each of you, and I depend on your feedback in representing you in Sacramento."
Due to redistricting, the 24th Assembly District now includes the communities of: North Fair Oaks, Menlo Park, Atherton, Portola Valley, Woodside, East Palo Alto, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, and the San Mateo County Coastside, from El Granada to the county line.
The Open House is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 5, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the district office of of Assemblyman Rich Gordon, 5050 El Camino Real, Suite 117, Los Altos, CA 94022.
Light food and refreshments will be served. Parking may be limited and carpooling is encouraged.
Gordon invites his constituents to discuss the state budget, state legislation, and other areas of concern to the community.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org, or by calling (650) 691-2121.
