Menlo Park Police are looking for two teens suspected of a strong arm robbery that took place at the intersection of Carlton Avenue and Newbridge Street on Monday.
At about 6:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the scene where the victim was interviewed. The teen told police that two people had demanded that he give them his belongings. They searched his pockets and physically assaulted him, according to Menlo Park Police Sergeant Tm Brackett.
“The suspects fled the scene on foot and an extensive search of the area was conducted,” Brackett said. “But the suspects were not located.”
The victim, a juvenile, was not mortally wounded and was sent home with his family. The two suspects are described as black males in their teens. One was wearing a black, long-sleeved shirt with a red, long sleeved shirt underneath. The second teen was wearing a gray hoodie with a black and white checkered scarf.
Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call them at (650) 330-6300
