Tree Falls on Car, Duo Arrested on Suspicion of Burglary

The following information was supplied by the Menlo Park Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The follwing is a run down of the crimes that took place in Menlo Park last week.

Monday

8:14 a.m., first block of Network Circle:  An unknown suspect stole copper wiring.

9:45 a.m., 100 block of Emma Lane:  An unknown suspect broke into a home and ransacked the place.

1:20 p.m., Newbridge Street and Saratoga Avenue: Police cited Juan Godinez, 32, a Menlo Park resident, with a notice to appear in court on a $5,000 East Palo Alto warrant.

8:23 p.m., first block of Lorelei Lane:  A woman lost her purse containing an iPhone, miscellaneous cards and paperwork and $200 in cash.

8:36 p.m., 800 block of Roble Avenue:  An unknown suspect cut a bike lock with bolt cutters and stole a $300 Diamondback Edgewood LX.

 

Tuesday

8:54 a.m., Menlo Avenue and Doyle Street:  A tree fell on a car and damaged it.

9:20 a.m., Bay Road and Ringwood Avenue:  Police towed a car for having an expired registration.

2:20 p.m., 100 block of Sharon Park Drive:  An unknown stole a wallet.

3:34 p.m., Willow Road and Hamilton Avenue: Police cited Tuiniua Ulukivaiola, 21, an East Palo Alto resident, with a notice to appear in court on a $7,500 East Palo Alto warrant.

6:37 p.m., 600 block of Sharon Park Drive: An unknown suspect stole some license plates.

 

Wednesday

2:40 a.m., 400 block of El Camino Real: Police towed a car for having en excessive amount of unpaid parking tickets.

1:27 p.m., 1200 block of Carlton Avenue: Police cited Indira Morales, 25, a Menlo Park resident, on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license.

2:09 p.m., 700 block of Laurel Street: Police arrested and booked Thomas Zeiker, an East Palo Alto resident, on a no-bail warrant out of Menlo Park for $7,500.

7:08 p.m., 700 block of Ivy Drive: An unknown suspect stole a bicycle.

8 p.m., 300 block of Constitution Drive: An unknown suspect entered a commercial building and stole property.

9:16 p.m., 1700 block of Stanford Avenue: An unknown suspect used someone's credit card to make fraudulent purchases.

 

Thursday

12:23 a.m.,1200 block of Hamilton Court: Police arrested Truhill Davon Noel, 23, an East Palo Alto resident, on a $10,000 East Palo Alto warrant for driving with a suspended or revoked license.

9:57 a.m., 300 block of Sharon Park Drive: Police cited Ronald Ennis, 62, with a notice to appear in court on a $666 warrant out of Alameda.

11:21 a.m., 500 block of Willow Road: An unknown suspect punched someone, fled and could not be found.

5:04 p.m., 1000 block of Almanor Avenue: An unknown suspect entered a home through a rear window and stole electronics and jewelry.

9:47 p.m., El Camino Real and Santa Cruz Avenue: A driver opened his door and hit a bicyclist who passing by, resulting in a minor injury.

 

Friday

11:42 p.m., 200 block of O'Keefe Street: Police arrested Cardena Luis, 18, and a juvenile, on suspicion of burglary.

3:26 p.m., 200 block of East Creek Drive: An unknown suspect stole jewelry valued at more than $400 from a home.

4:48 p.m., 2000 block of Menalto Avenue: An unknown suspect tried unsuccessfully to enter a home through a window.

6:12 p.m., 2100 block of Menalto Avenue: An unknown removed a door screen to a home, entered and stole jewelry, camera equipment and some computers.

 

 

Saturday

1:17 p.m., Hazelwood and Kavanaugh Drive, East Palo Alto: Police cited Krista Wank, 22, a Menlo Park resident, on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license and towed her car.

3:22 p.m., 1300 block of Windermere Avenue: Police citedSandra Tanielu, 27, a Menlo Park resident, on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license.

3:55 p.m., 500 block of El Camino Real: Michael Nolan, 62, a Palo Alto resident, was arrested and booked into county jail on suspicion of shoplifting.

3:59 p.m., 800 book of Alma Street: Police arrested a juvenile for petty theft and released the juvenile to a parent.

8:46 p.m., 400 block of O'Connor Street: An unknown suspect a garden hose.

11:07 p.m., 1000 block of El Camino Real: Police cited Daniel Peei, 20, a Menlo Park resident, on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license and towed her car.

 

Sunday

12:21 a.m., 500 block of El Camino Real: Police cited Jose Trujillo, 22, an East Palo Alto resident, on suspicion of petty theft.

1:30 a.m., Willow Road and Hamilton Avenue: Jun Yang, 26, a San Jose resident, on suspicion of being drunken in public.

4:14 a.m., 1100 block of Sevier: A victim reported being jumped by an unknown suspect who also took his wallet.

1:33 p.m., 800 block of Laurel Avenue: An unknown suspect entered an unlocked car and stole a stereo and speakers. The car owner told police it was the fourth break-in in the same car.

8:15 p.m., 200 block of Newbridge Street: Someone reported a case of possibly spousal abuse.
