Menlo Park Police Arrest Man With Meth

Menlo Park police arrested Yannique Devillez, 20, in East Palo Alto Wednesday during the execution of a search warrant.

Officers in the Special Operations division, along with East Palo Alto Police’s Special Duty Unit, were serving a search warrant in the 800 block of Runnymede Street. The warrant was issued because the residence was suspected of being a space where large quantities of methamphetamines were stored.

Police say that when they searched the Devillez residence they found a rifle, a stolen pistol and a large amount of methamphetamine that was packed as though it would be sold.

Devillez was arrested and placed into San Mateo County Jail for possession of a controlled substance while armed. He was also charged with possessing a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, and possession of stolen property. He is in custody on $200,000 bail.
