Menlo Park Homeowner Interrupts Burglar

Police tracked the suspect with the K-9 unit.

are looking for a man who broke into a home on Carlton Avenue on Thursday to steal a motorbike. 

Around 4:30 a.m., the owner of the home awoke to find a man in the garage pushing a small motorbike out of the garage.  The resident yelled at the would-be burglar who then dashed away.  The bike was later found in a driveway nearby; the suspect was nowhere in sight.

unleashed the K-9s on the scene. However, the suspect could not be found.  Menlo Park police say the man is about 5’7” tall, and of average build; he was wearing a black hoodie that covered his face and light colored pants.
