After a Menlo-Atherton football victory Friday, dozens of teens went to William Burnett’s house on Woodside Avenue to party.
Neighbors called the cops, saying that the noise was too much.
When police arrived, they found teenagers consuming alcohol and subsequently arrested Burnett. He was charged with 44 counts of contributing to a minor’s delinquency.
He is now in county jail and could serve a year in the slammer, or pay $2,500, or both, for each charge against him. District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe says it has not been decided whether each charge will be prosecuted individually.
