Update: Missing Elderly Woman With Alzheimer's Found

Mountain View police search Friday evening for missing Korean-speaking woman.

Update: 9:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6: A Korean-speaking woman who went missing this afternoon while visiting family in Mountain View was found tonight after a 7-hour search, police said.

Junji Park, a 68-year-old woman, is in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease and is also diabetic and needed her next shot by 10 p.m., police said today.

She has been visiting family in the 1200 block of Dale Avenue in Mountain View for one week and walked away from the apartment today at about 2 p.m.

She is not familiar with the area and left without her purse, cellphone or identification with her, police said.

She was found tonight and reunited with her family, police said.

Mountain View police are searching this evening for a missing Korean-speaking woman who does not have her purse, cellphone or identification with her.

Junji, a 69-year-old woman, is in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease and is also diabetic, police said today.

She is missing from the 1200 block of Dale Avenue in Mountain View.

She was last seen wearing a red shirt, black pants and her glasses.

She is not familiar with the area, police said. Police have asked anyone who sees her to call 911 or (650) 903-6395.
