Crime Blotter: Hit-and-Runs, Driving with No License and Petty Thefts

Monday

7:35 a.m., U.S. Highway 101 and University Avenue, East Palo Alto: Marco Cruz, 32, a Mira Loma resident, was cited and released for driving with a suspended or revoked license.

8:02 a.m., Bayfront Expressway and Willow Road: Marco Garcia, 46, a Menlo Park resident, was cited and released for driving with a suspended or revoked license.

10:45 a.m., 900 block of Willow Road: Christina Hidalgo, 18, a Menlo Park resident, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a dangerous and illegal drug such as meth or heroin.

11:21 a.m.,  Santa Cruz Avenue and El Camino Real: Police cited and released Eduardo Salaa, 47, a Menlo Park resident, with a notice to appear in court on a $191 warrant out of San Francisco.

6:59 p.m., 500 block of El Camino Real: Jeffrey Zeman, 57, a transient, was arrested and booked on suspicion of being drunk in public.

 

Tuesday

10:58 a.m., 400 block of Claire Lane: Some juveniles tried to open the side gate of a home.

11:13 a.m., 1100 block of Obrien Drive: A driver hit a car, damaged it, and then fled the scene.

2:15 p.m., 1000 block of Creek Drive: A residential burglary was reported.

2:56 p.m., Gilbert Avenue and Marmona Drive: George Meir, 58, a Menlo Park resident, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

6:40 p.m., 700 block of Harvard Avenue: Police arrested Antonio Jones, 32, a San Jose resident, on suspicion of resisting arrest, domestic violence and two San Jose warrants: one for $10,000 on a past charge of being under the influence of an illegal drug, and a second one for $500 on a trespassing charge. Christian Patee, 23, a Milpitas resident, was also arrested on a parole violation.

 

Wednesday

8:26 a.m., 2300 block of Crest Lane: An unknown suspect entered a home and stole jewelry.

8:30 a.m., 1000 block of Madera Avenue: An unknown suspect entered an unlocked car and stole a bag.

1:35 p.m., 1300 block of Adams Court: Someone entered a business and made threats to the workers.

2:32 p.m., 1600 block of El Camino Real: An unknown suspect paid for some services with fraudulent money orders.

5:01 p.m., 1200 block of Willow Road: Arnett Hill, 33, a Stockton resident, was arrested and booked on a $25,000 warrant out of San Joaquin County for resisting or obstructing arrest.

7:51 p.m., 800 block of Laurel Avenue: An unknown suspect stole a UPS package from a front porch containing items or an item worth more than $400.

9:36 p.m., 200 block of Elm Street: Someone entered an unlocked car and stole a laptop worth less than $400.

 

Thursday

1:20 p.m., 200 block of Newbridge Street: An unknown suspect stole a purse.

1:32 p.m., 400 block of Pope Street: A juvenile was arrested for being drunk in public.

3:07 p.m., 1200 block of Sevier Avenue: A juvenile was arrested for indecent exposure.

3:38 p.m., 100 block of Scott Drive: An unknown suspect entered an office and stole a computer worth less than $400.

5:21 p.m., 1000 block of Sonoma Avenue: Someone stole three scooters, but they were later located.

6:26 p.m., 500 block of Barron Street: An unknown suspect smashed a car window.

8:35 p.m., 200 block of Constitution Drive: An adult was reported missing, but was later found in East Palo Alto.

 

Friday

8:47 a.m., Willow Road and U.S. Highway 101: A car accident without injuries happened.

11:07 a.m., 300 block of Sharon Park Drive: An unknown suspect committed fraud.

2:45 p.m., 200 block of Constitution Drive: Police took a report on possible battery.

5:57 p.m., 2200 block of Sharon Road: An unknown suspect committed a petty theft.

8:34 p.m., 3600 Haven Avenue: Robert Feger, 45, was cited and released on suspicion of of driving with a suspended or revoked license.

9:40 p.m., Marsh Road and Bayfront Expressway: Police arrested Lisa Tislau, 34, an East Palo Alto resident, on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license and on a warrant out of Redwood City.

10:08 p.m., 300 block of Sheridan Drive: Someone from Haven House reported a case of vandalism and police later arrested and booked Tyler Gorzynski, 18, a Menlo Park resident, on suspicion of committing the act.

 

Saturday

10:56 a.m., 350 Sharon Park Drive: Someone hit a gray Nissan, caused damage and then fled the scene.

11:25 a.m., 500 block of Market Place: An unknown suspect stole a red Ford Taurus.

11:31 a.m., Oak Grove Avenue and El Camino Real: Two people were involved in a car accident and one person complained of minor pain.

5:31 p.m., 1000 block of Sevier Avenue: An unknown suspect stole a license plate from a car.

 

Sunday

12:03 p.m., 400 block of Ravenswood Avenue: Kenneth Hennefer, 56, a Palo Alto resident, was cited and released with a notice to appear in court on a $1,500 warrant out of Santa Clara County.

1:45 p.m., El Camino Real and Ravenswood Avenue: Police cited and released Ihsan Mohsen Eloafi, 32, a San Francisco resident, on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license. 

2:53 p.m., 600 block of Willow Road: Police cited and released William Flores, 24, on suspicion of driving without a license.

4:13 p.m., 3600 block of Haven Avenue: Police towed an abandoned trailer and boat.
