Crime Blotter, April 18-24: Burglaries and Warrants

Monday

12:06 a.m., 400 block of Ivy Drive: Police took a case on a runaway juvenile.

1:45 p.m., 700 block of Laurel Street: Police arrested Ruby Romero Gutierrez, 28, on an outside warrant and booked him into county jail.

2:11 p.m., 700 block of Laurel Street: Police arrested Edward Bruce Grady, 22, on an Santa Clara County no-bail warrant and booked him into county jail.

5:02 p.m., 1500 block of San Antonio Street: A woman was cited and released on suspicion of spousal abuse. Police also took a mental evaluation report.

5:23 p.m., 700 block of Coleman Avenue: Someone reported the theft of three bicycles.

 

Tuesday

8:11 a.m., Camp Bello Court: An unknown suspect smashed a car window and stole a wallet.

8:22 a.m., 1800 block of Doris Drive: Someone entered an unlocked car and stole a wallet.

11:09 a.m., 700 block of Stanford Avenue: An unknown suspect smashed a car window and stole a laptop.

2:40 p.m., 700 block of Coleman Avenue: A bank reported a case of identity theft to one of its customers.

4:39 p.m., Newbridge Street and Carlton Avenue: Police cited and released Daniel Majhor, 29, a Hayward resident, on suspicion of illegal drug activity.

8:07 p.m., 200 block of Ivy Drive: Someone reported a burglary that happened earlier the same day.

 

Wednesday

1:44 a.m., 100 block of Okeefe Street: Joey Harris, 19, a Belmont resident, was cited and released with a notice to appear on a $1,000 Santa Clara County warrant.

2:14 a.m., El Camino Real and University Avenue: Police arrested Carlos Aguirre, 33, on suspicion of drunken driving and taken to First Chance.

5:22 p.m., 1100 block of Noel Drive: An unknown suspect stole a large sum of money from someone's bank account.

5:24 p.m., Lorelei Lane: Someone reported a stolen bicycle.

8:54 p.m., 200 block of Ravenwood Avenue: A cabinet was reportedly pried open by an unknown suspect, but it's unknown if the person stole anything.

10:37 p.m., University Avenue and Bayfront Expressway: Police cited and released Tyrone Spears, 30, an Oakland resident, on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license.

 

Thursday

7:59 a.m., Highway 101 and Marsh Road: Police arrested Christina Alcala, 25, on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license and booked her into county jail.

9:49 a.m., 700 block of Laurel Street: Police arrested Jorge Souza, 26, on a $10,000 warrant for domestic violence.

11:48 a.m., 400 block of Pope Street: Police cited and released a juvenile on suspicion of illegal activity.

1:32 p.m., 700 block of Ivy Drive: An unknown suspect broke off some windshield wipers from a car.

3:48 p.m., Bayfront Expressway and Chilco Street: Police cited and released Ricardo Nava, 27, on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license.

4:47 p.m., 1600 block of Bay Road: Police arrested and booked Juan Garcianava, 21, on two warrants for driving with a suspended or revoked license: the first, also involving the possession of a controlled substance, was for $50,000 out of Redwood City, while the second was out of East Palo Alto.

10:06 p.m., 300 block of Sharon Park: Police arrested Simon Peake, age unknown, on suspicion of being drunk in public.

 

Friday

12:50 a.m., 1000 block of Louise Street: Someone entered a car and rummaged through it, but did not take anything.

10:24 a.m., 3600 block of Haven Avenue: An unknown suspect stole construction equipment from a site.

12:28 p.m., 1800 block of Doris Drive: Someone reported losing a wallet.

6:20 a.m., 1300 block of Windermere Avenue: Someone broke a window.

 

Saturday

2:43 a.m., El Camino Real and Roble Avenue: Police arrested Ashley Heinke, 23, a Fremont resident, on suspicion of drunken driving and took her to First Chance.

3:53 a.m., Peggy Lane and Bay Road: Police cited and released Alexandra Ruch, 18, on suspicion of illegal drug activity.

12:40 p.m., 3000 block of Alameda de Las Pulgas: An unknown suspect broke into a car, but it's unknown if the person took anything.

5:23 p.m., 100 block of Durham Street: An unknown suspect broke into a car, but it's unknown if the person took anything.

6:48 p.m., 3000 block of Middlefield Road, Redwood City: Carlos Fuentes, 35, was arrested and booked on three separate outside warrants.

 

Sunday

1:33 a.m., 500 block of Willow Road: Police arrested Amanda Flores, 24, a Fremont resident, on suspicion of drunken driving.

3:12 p.m., 500 block of Oak Grove Avenue: Police arrested Brennan Rego, 25, a Menlo Park resident, on suspicion being drunk in public and booked him into county jail.

9:37 a.m., Newbridge Street and Saratoga Avenue, East Palo Alto: Donald Dunnell, 42, an East Palo Alto resident, was cited and released on a $7,500 warrant out of Menlo Park.

4:50 p.m., 1300 block of Carlton Avenue: Someone reported a residential burglary.

6:44 p.m., 1200 block of Carlton Avenue: A residential burglary was reported.

9:51 p.m., 300 block of Ivy Drive: Police took a report for a case of possible battery.
