CHP To Conduct Sobriety Checkpoint This Weekend

Officers aggressively seeking drunk drivers.

The Redwood City Area Office of the California Highway Patrol announced Friday that it will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday, April 21.

“Every year, members of our community are injured or killed on local roadways by impaired drivers,” said CHP Spokesperson Art Montiel.

“It is the Department’s goal to use this enforcement tool to assist with the reduction of injury and fatal collisions that are caused by drunk drivers,” he added.

The checkpoint will be from 8 p.m.- midnight at an undisclosed location.
