Caltrain Investigating Body On Tracks

Service disrupted.

A female body was found on the southbound Caltrain tracks between the Diridon and Tamien stations Monday, disrupting service until the afternoon.

Emergency personnel and the county coroner are on the scene investigating the situation to clarify how the body got there.

The body was found at about 9:50 a.m. Investigators do not know the deceased person's identity.

“No northbound trains are scheduled to travel between San Jose and Tamien until 2:33 p.m.,” said Christine Dunn, Caltrain spokesperson.

Southbound train 236 will be held at the San Jose Diridon station, Dunn said.

So happy that story about Google killing the Google Reader app was a joke. Google Reader is myRead More favorite way to read the Menlo Park Patch. Without Google Reader, I would miss all the great articles here.
