Burglar Snags Jewelry, Copper Piping

The following information was supplied by the Menlo Park Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday

12:19 a.m., Ivy Drive and Willow Road: Everado Zamora, 24, was cited and released with a notice to appear in court on a $3,000 warrant out of San Mateo County.

9:50 a.m., 500 block of Ravenswood Avenue: Brian Doyle, 44, an East Palo Alto resident, was cited and released on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

10:33 a.m., 600 block of Coleman Avenue: An unknown suspect broke into a home and stole a jewelry box and then stole some copper pipes from in front of the house.

11:53 a.m., 1400 block of Willow Road: Police towed a white 1997 white Ford Windstar for having fake registration tags.

4:29 p.m., 500 block of El Camino Real: Ryan Henry, 48, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. Police towed his blue 2010 Toyota Prius.

8:25 p.m., first block of El Camino Real: Andre Williams, 41, a transient, was arrested and booked on suspicion of petty theft and resisting arrest after officers detained him.

 

Wednesday

8:10 a.m., 2600 block of Sand Hill Road: An unknown suspect broke into a commercial building and stole two computers.

8:57 a.m., 300 block of Grayson Court: Antonio Sotelomoreno, 22, an East Palo Alto resident, was arrested and booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property.

2:41 p.m., 400 block of Pope Street: Someone reported that an unknown person tried to start two fights.

4:29 p.m., Marsh Road and Scott Drive: Two drivers were involved in an accident and both people later complained of pain.

9:19 p.m., 700 block of Gilbert Avenue: An unknown suspect entered a home through a window and stole property.

 

Thursday

12:05 a.m., 1300 block of Madera Avenue: Police took a report on an altercation between a man and woman that resulted in no injuries.

4:15 a.m., 1300 block of Modoc Avenue: An unknown suspect stole a Nissan Sentra.

10:17 a.m., 1700 block of Holly Avenue: Robert Rosiles, 39, was cited and released on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license.

10:18 a.m., 1300 block of San Mateo Drive: An unknown suspect used someone's credit card to make fraudulent purchases.

11:08 a.m., 1700 block of Bay Road: A juvenile was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of San Mateo County's juvenile probation department.

6:39 p.m., 800 block of Santa Cruz Avenue: Someone's leather jacket was stolen. Police said the investigation is "ongoing."

6:46 p.m., 300 block of Sharon Park Drive: An unknown suspect entered an unlocked home and stole a laptop.

8:10 a.m., 2600 block of Sand Hill Road: An unknown suspect broke into a commercial building and stole two computers.

 

Friday

9:18 a.m., 190 O'Keefe Street: Police initiated a a graffiti abatement project.

11:35 a.m., 400 block of Burgess Drive: An car was reported stolen.

12:43 p.m., 2600 block of Sand Hill Road: Police took a case for possible fraud.

7 p.m., 300 block of Constitution: An unknown suspect broke into a home, but police did not specify whether anything was stolen.

9:23 p.m., Bayfront Expresway and University Avenue: Frank Jones, 42, a Fremont resident, was cited and released on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license.

 

Saturday

1:51 a.m., Elena and Valparaiso Avenues: Andrea Mobley, 21, a Portola Valley resident, was arrested and on suspicion of drunken driving and taken to a First Chance facility.

9:08 a.m., Sand Hill Road and Santa Cruz Avenue: Police cited and released Christopher Sofele, 21, an Emerald HIlls resident, on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license.

 

Sunday

11:07 a.m., 1100 block of Sevier Avenues: Someone found lost property and turned it into police.

1:31 p.m., 700 block of El Camino Real: Brian Doyle, 44, an East Palo Alto resident, was cited and released on suspicion of causing a verbal disturbance.

3:20 p.m., Santa Cruz Avenue and Sharon Road: A driver hit another driver, injured the person and then fled the scene.

5:31 p.m., 500 block of O'Keefe Sreet: A driver hit another car, damaged it and then fled the scene.
