15-Year-Old Menlo Girl Hurt in Drive-By Shooting

Police say at least two shooters in a light-colored four-door sedan drove down the block and fired multiple gunshots into a home on Madera Avenue.

Police in Menlo Park are searching for suspects in a drive-by shooting that injured a teenage girl in her home on Sunday night. The shooting was reported in the 1300 block of Madera Avenue at about 7:35 p.m., according to police.

Witnesses told police that at least two shooters in a light-colored four-door sedan drove down the block and fired multiple gunshots into a home and two cars. A 15-year-old girl inside the home was shot in the hand, police said. She was treated at the scene by paramedics and then taken to a hospital.

No one else was injured, and no suspects have been identified, police said.

The suspect vehicle was last seen driving west on Madera Avenue toward Ivy Drive.
