Menlo School Students Get Lessons in Bike Safety

Cycling Knights, Menlo Middle School’s bike safety program, held an assembly last week. The assembly featured guest speaker MaryAnn Leveson, an avid cyclist dedicated to educating our community and children about bike safety and driver awareness. MaryAnn was joined by Officer Marks of the Atherton Police Department and Jim Gardner of Good Karma Bikes. Sixth graders rotated through a series of stations, including a helmet check, Q&A with guest speakers, and a workshop on bike safety.
