Menlo Park Alateen Meeting

Alateen is one of the Al-Anon Family Groups. Alateen is a fellowship of young people (ages 12-20 years) whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking. We learn what we can do to help ourselves, whether the alcoholic continues to drink or not. We help each other by sharing our
experience, strength and hope.

Our meetings are confidential, anonymous, free, non-religious, and not-professional.

The Al-Anon Family Groups believe alcoholism is a family illness and that changed attitudes can aid recovery. We have but one purpose: to help families of alcoholics. We do this by practicing the Twelve Steps, by welcoming and giving comfort to families of alcoholics, and by giving understanding and encouragement to the alcoholic.
