Help Restore Native Habitat Along San Francisquito Creek

Help improve habitat for native insects, birds, fish and other animals by volunteering with Acterra in restoring native plants along San Fransquito Creek. The first creek side planting is on Saturday, November 9th from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Pope St. and Woodland Ave in Menlo Park. After completing planting at this site, volunteers will move one block downstream toward Palo Alto to continue restoration activities. Volunteers are asked to bring reusable water bottles and dress for outdoor work (sturdy shoes and long pants are recommended). Acterra will provide gloves and tools. Minors under 18 must bring a waiver form signed by a parent/guardian.
