CGF and Save the Bay are partnering to bring you an exciting educational program followed by a birding session that will showcase the Baylands, one of the best-known birding sites on the West Coast. Come learn more about local environmental efforts and how you can lend a much needed hand and a voice to help protect open space treasures in our backyard. Take this opportunity to meet CGF's Legislative Advocate, Alice Kaufman, who will share the importance of protecting similar crucial habitat and how you can get involved. Learn from Save the Bay's Habitat Restoration Director, Donna Ball, as she delves into transition zone habitat restoration and invites you to get involved through various volunteer opportunities and a potential citizen-based avian monitoring program. This indoor presentation will be followed by a docent-led birding session, where local birders will share their expertise and love of this birding hot spot.

So happy that story about Google killing the Google Reader app was a joke. Google Reader is myRead More favorite way to read the Menlo Park Patch. Without Google Reader, I would miss all the great articles here.
