The San Francisco Giants World Championship Trophy Tour presented by Bank of America will continue its three-month public tour and stop in East Palo Alto on Wednesday, March 13 at Costano Elementary School. Fans will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with 2012 and 2010 Major League Baseball’s Commissioner’s Trophies, crafted by Tiffany & Co., and to support their local Junior Giants Baseball League by making a voluntary contribution during the trophy viewing.

The goal of the San Francisco World Championship Trophy Tour is to share Major League Baseball’s Commissioner’s trophies with Giants fans in Junior Giants communities throughout northern California.

A $2 donation will help fund the East Palo Alto Junior Giants which provides more than 200 East Palo Alto youth with opportunities to participate in free, non-competitive baseball. Junior Giants is the flagship program of the Giants Community Fund, which serves more than 20,000 boys and girls in 80 underserved communities throughout northern and central California and southern Oregon.

So happy that story about Google killing the Google Reader app was a joke. Google Reader is myRead More favorite way to read the Menlo Park Patch. Without Google Reader, I would miss all the great articles here.
